How secure is Nidara-Children-Children?

At Nidara-Children, the security of your data and your child’s data is our highest priority. We have a dedicated security team using the best tools and engineering practices available to build and maintain Nidara-Children, and you can rest assured that we’ve implemented multiple levels of security to protect you and your child’s online identity.  We also follow relevant COPPA, GDPR and HIPAA standards to ensure that your child is in a safe environment and the data is protected.


How can I protect my Nidara-Children account?

If you are worried about your account or your child’s account, or you’re just generally worried about the security of your account, here are some actions you can take:  Change your password


I think my account was compromised. What do I do?

If you’re worried that someone else has accessed your Nidara-Children account, or that your account was hacked, don’t panic.  Check to make sure your child or anyone else in your family has not accessed it.  If you still think it’s a problem, please do one of the following:

How do I choose a secure password for Nidara-Children?

We highly recommend everyone take steps to improve their own safety on Nidara-Children and elsewhere online. Here are some easy and common password protection techniques to keep your online accounts safe.


Choose unique passwords for each service you use

The safest thing to do is to choose unique passwords for each service you use and guard them closely. If you’ve ever used the same password for more than one website, you should create new unique passwords for each of them.


Create strong passwords and test them

A good password is one that is easy for you to remember but hard for a stranger to guess. Uncommon words work well, but only if you use several together. Also helpful: non-standard uPPercasing, creative spelllling, personal slang, and non-obvious numbers and symbols (using $ for s or 0 for o is too obvious!).


Why did my password expire?

We do not enable this measure at this time. Please check to make sure someone else in your family has not change the password.  If you find that your password is not working, please reset your password.


How do I change my password?

Please login to Nidara-Children with your user name and password.  You can change your password in your account settings page.


I forgot my password. How do I reset it?

Please visit the Nidara-Children website.  Under the sign option, you will find a Forgot Password option. Use that to change your password.


How do I change my email address?

At this time, you cannot change the email address.  You will have to use the email address that you signed up with.  We may change this feature in the future.


How do I verify my email address?

Once you have created the account, an email verification link will be sent to you automatically.  You can use that link to verify you account.


My Child’s Account

I want to change my child’s login photo. How do I do it?

Please login to your account and edit your child’s photo in their child profile settings.

How do I upgrade from a free to paid Nidara-Children account?

Sign into the Nidara-Children website using the parent username and password.  Visit the Girl or Boy page to upgrade.


How do I change my account settings?

Sign into your account and update your account settings.


Do you have Nidara-Children in my language?

At this time. Nidara-Children is available only in the English language.


How do I get notified of changes in my Nidara-Children?

You will be notified of changes in Nidara-Children when you login.  You will be a bell message on top next to your name in account settings.


How do I cancel my Nidara-Children account?

Please login to your account, go to My Account and select de-activate option.


What happens to my data when I cancel my account?

Your data will be stored with us should you decide to resume using Nidara-Children again within 30 days.  If more than 30 days have passed, you will have to create a new account.
